Hello: My son has type 1 and we are also looking into the insulin pump. The doctor's office provides one day per month, if a manufacturer is the insulin pump and we can see and hear what they have to say about their product.

I am also impressed by the minimum, but more. It seemed complicated to operate.

I loved the Animas, because it is available in different colors and can be used when my son to go swimming and did not have the minimum requirements.

But the best we have very much enjoyed and plans to the Deltec Cozmo. You can use not only, if at all, because it is waterproof, but is a compact, ie, meter and a pump in one unit.

You can check out the link below for reviews of pumps and go from there.

Hope this helps :-)

It is a personal preference,

I use a Minimed 508th My pump is older (about 6 years), but it works very well and I love it. I do not see the need for a new one.

I have not tried other pumps, but I have good things about them. All have their pros and cons. Minimed I prefer, because I was with their bombs and me, their customer service will be the first familiar. They were always very helpful. Does not work when my pump a few years ago another bomb Minimed Overnighter use me, while I was repaired. Once set, extract it Overnighter at me and even sent mail back to the replacement of the pump to send. They were also very fast for me and my stores, I have no complaints.

I recommend not divulge to third parties.

Choose one that best fits your needs and your lifestyle. Good luck and welcome to the world of insulin pumpers.

I was in a pump, Paradigm 712 pump for about 3 1 / 2 years. It's totally awesome and has helped to increase variety in the food and soft diabetic gives me some flexibility for the meals!

As stated for the quality or better, was the first Minimed insulin pump market in the United States. They have done more and better than anyone that it concerns me. Their customer service people always fast, easy and effective!

The training has to me as I ran my pump is very good / good as I am concerned at the pump, which is super easy to use!

Hope this helps!

I agree with Kaddy, I am also a paradigm shift (722) from Minimed. I only had a problem before I cracked the screen. I called at 2:00 PM Minimed pump and a new clock was at 9:30 the next morning. No questions asked and no cost to me. While you are in different colors and can buy all kinds of accessories, chargers, carriers for them. It only seems complicated because it has many features if you do not want to keep your footing. They have a charge), a continuous monitoring of blood glucose for bombs (you have ever wondered if you have to pin 3:00 BG while you sleep? I hope that helps.

I use the Deltec Cozmo. I love games insertion Cleo! It was a mini-med once 5 years ago. I was not impressed, but it's a personal decision. They should not be a side by side comparison. Good luck and have pumped!
